I also recommend spending time finding the perfect self-care journal that reflects you as a person. It might seem unimportant but, having a journal that looks pretty and reflects your character is key!

2. Don't worry about being perfect

Don’t stress about perfect writing. Just let your feelings out without filters. The focus is on being open and true, not on making everything flawless. This is what makes journaling healing.

3. Make it a habit

The best way to get good at something new is to turn it into a habit!

To do this, set aside 15 minutes every single day for your journaling until it becomes something that you do automatically each day.

I personally like doing it in the morning but there is no ‘right’ time to journal.
