7 Apps, Planners & Prompts That Help Me Stay on Track Without Hustle Culture Vibes

Let’s be honest, there’s a fine line between being organised and feeling like your entire life is a to-do list. If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably dabbled in a dozen productivity hacks, only to end up more stressed than when you started.

The truth? You don’t need colour-coded spreadsheets or 5am alarms to feel like you’ve got your life together. Sometimes, it’s about choosing tools that help you feel aligned, not overwhelmed.

So if you’re over the hustle culture pressure but still want to show up for yourself in a way that feels soft, intentional and doable, these are the apps, planners and prompts that are helping me stay on track right now.

1. The WeGlow App

Best for: Intuitive fitness without the pressure

If you’re tired of intense gym plans that leave you dreading your workouts, WeGlow is the breath of fresh air you need.

The app is built around intuitive movement and mindset-led fitness. You’ll find expert-designed strength training plans, home workouts, yoga flows and mobility sessions, all with built-in rest days and real-life flexibility.

You can customise everything based on how you’re actually feeling- not how Instagram thinks you should feel.

There's also a whole section on food and recovery, which feels like a nice change from the usual “burn more, eat less” narrative.

2. Notion

Best for: Organising your brain in one pretty place

Think of Notion as a digital notebook, planner and vision board all in one.

It’s where I keep my daily to-dos, long-term goals, monthly mood boards and even my weekly meal ideas. The customisation is endless, which can be overwhelming at first, but once you set up your perfect layout, it’s chef’s kiss.

I use it to track how I want to feel each week, not just what I want to get done.

3. The Elevate Edit Journal Prompts

Best for: Checking in with yourself in under 10 minutes

Sometimes we need more than a checklist. We need a pause. These guided journal prompts (from our very own freebies!) are designed to help you reconnect with what matters, especially when life feels chaotic.

4. Structured App

Best for: Visual daily planning

If you love the idea of time-blocking but hate how rigid it usually feels, Structured is the gentle nudge you’ve been waiting for.

You can slot in your plans visually (hello, pastel colour-coding), and it gives you a soft ping when it's time to switch tasks—without feeling like you’re on a timer.

Great for staying focused without falling into productivity guilt when things don’t go exactly to plan.

5. The Five Minute Journal App

Best for: Quick wins and mindset shifts

Gratitude is a powerful tool, but writing down a full page of positives every morning can feel… a lot. The Five Minute Journal keeps it light and doable. You’re guided to write down three things you’re grateful for, one thing that would make today great, and an affirmation. That’s it.

It takes less time than scrolling through Instagram, and feels ten times better for your mental health.

6. Habit Tracker by Loop (Android) or Streaks (iOS)

Best for: Building consistent habits (without shame)

These apps help you stay on track with the habits you want to build, whether that’s drinking more water, going for a walk or switching your phone off by 9pm.

What I love is that they’re not pushy. You get a satisfying tick when you complete a habit- but if you miss a day, you’re not punished.

No negative streaks, no red crosses. Just encouragement.

7. Paper Planner from Papier

Best for: Slowing down and setting the vibe

Sometimes, nothing beats pen and paper. I use a Papier daily planner to map out my top three priorities, schedule in self-care, and scribble random thoughts that don’t belong in my phone.

There’s something about writing things down that feels grounding- and way more personal than another digital tab. Add a fancy pen and a cup of coffee, and suddenly your to-do list becomes a tiny ritual.

Final thoughts...

You don’t have to run yourself into the ground to make progress. With the right tools, you can move through your days with more ease, clarity and intention- no burnout, no hustle hangover, and no pressure to “have it all figured out”.

You’re allowed to grow slowly, rest often, and still make magic happen.
